I am doing some work in promoting a New York related forum and as such require a number of specialists to help get this project off the ground. Please read this post fully before applying to ensure that neither mine nor your time is wasted.

I require people that have good communication skills and must essentially speak good English. This applies to all concerned, not just content writers. I need to be able to give instructions and be safe in the knowledge that the task will be carried out properly.

I also need mature people. Whereas I will not penalise you if you demonstrate the ability to carry out the job to a satisfactory level, I do not want to be dealing with those that cannot act professionally.

Full reporting into your activity will be required, and if you are submitting to directories or article sites then I expect a full list of where you have submitted to. I also expect timelogs if your job involves work on an hourly basis.

Here are the services/positions that I need filled:

    - Content Writer - New York based or at least well versed in the city is an essential requirement. I am looking for reasonable quality articles on subjects such as city guides, history of New York etc etc. Titles and keywords will be provided. If I have already spoken to you, do not worry as I am still interested - we just have further requirements to those already outlined.

    - Long-Term Forum Posters - Again, New York based or those familiar with the city are preferred but I will consider all applicants based on experience and quality of work. This is a long-term position and I am looking for those that are available to post over the course of the next few months.

    - Article Submission - Both articles written for us and by us will need to be submitted to directories and article resources along with our link. I am looking for somebody, or a number of people, to carry out this task professionally and efficiently.

    - Directory Submission - Submission of our website to good quality web directories is required. I will be specifying items such as minimum Page Rank and am more than happy to provide full site description, URL and keywords along with anything else that is needed.

    - Search Engine Submission - Though the majority of traffic will come from Google and we are already indexed, it won't hurt to have the site submitted to any and all search engines. Again, description and keywords will be provided to the successful applicant.

    - Forum Moderator - Not required immediately, but sometime in the very near future. I am looking for somebody reliable and again preferably in the area or familiar with the city for this position. A flat rate per month will be available along with other perks.

    - Regular Feature Writer - I require somebody to research daily and weekly news in the New York area. This news will be posted on the forums, though must not infringe upon any copyrights - this is very important. This will be done daily or weekly pending discussion. Only a few snippets need to be added on a daily basis, but due to the nature of the work, you need to be very reliable.

I believe that is all for now, and if you have any questions feel free to ask here, PM me or alternatively send an E-Mail to .

All payments will be made via PayPal unless otherwise arranged. I am flexible, though you will need to arrange an alternative payment method prior to starting work if you cannot or do not wish to accept PayPal.

When applying, please include the positions you are applying for, rates and experience, along with your name, age and location. If you are not willing to supply these details, please do not apply.

All applications should be sent to with the subject "NYCTalk Job Application". This opportunity is open to both individuals and services.

Any applications that are not written to a satisfactory standard with all the appropriate details will not receive a reply. I simply do not have the time to deal with those that cannot read.

Thank you for your time, I look forward to receiving your applications.

    Regards,
    John O'Nions
