Is it bad to have multiple price points that we show to different consumers for our subscription service? For example, if we show lower income people a lower price point for subscriptions. Our broker said to only use a few that if we have too many it can cause issues.
I guess it depends on how you segment them and show the prices. I have friends who will send me a link asking for opinions on a product or service. I might be in a different price band & reply that a different website offers a better deal which would cause confusion. But if your product is already low cost, or low risk (ie if they buy and aren't happy then they just move on) they may be less likely to ask for a second opinion and the customer won't know about the price bands.
It's understandable to want to cater to different income levels, but too many price points can confuse consumers and dilute your brand. Finding a balance between accessibility and simplicity is key. Maybe consider a tiered structure that still feels inclusive without overwhelming potential subscribers.
