Multiple Players on the Mobile Screen (for an app)

    I'm new to app building and was working on creating a game app where you could play with a couple other people (nearby). It would be kind of like a racing game where you could race other players and see them on your screen as they are playing along. However, I've had a couple of builders tell me that it is impossible and I'm still trying to figure that part out. Do any of you know if this kind of app capability is possible?

    I doubt it would work well with a mobile screen, however I think there is compatibility and it would work well with tablets.
