    Hi all-

Is it better to have a separate paypal account for each website you own or to set up an LLC with one account?

    Thx

No need to open seperate paypal account for each website. Only one paypal account is enough for that.

BTW paypal allow only two accounts per person. One is personal paypal account and another is premier/business paypal account.

    DON.

Multiple paypal accounts for multiple websites make you end up with limited account.
As Don says paypal only allow two accounts per person.

If you are worried about ipn working don't it works just fine from multiple websites. The big problem i have is if you set up a business name then customers from multiple website see the same business name. It can create problems in the users mind if they think they are buying cellphone accessories and then when they transfer to paypal the see a name from a totally unrelated business. Point being if you are using paypal from multiple website then make you business name something generic.

You can't..Payal allows only 2 accounts per person..
Two accounts is enough..Why do you want multiple accounts?

You can have only 2 Paypal accounts, one is personal and the second one if either premier or business. Opening more than 2 paypal accounts is against their terms and conditions.

Thanks everyone, This is what I was concerned about. Also with the personal name associated with the account if I ever use a pen name in one of my ebooks.

I personally have a paypal account for Personal use (shopping/ebay), and another business account for my business. This way accounting is easier.

I'm trying to get my head around using Paypal to take payments for my ebook at the minute. My account is currently setup as a business account, but the website I'm selling the product from has a different domain name. When you purchase the ebook the button says 'Return to mydomain.com' which isn't where the customer bought the product from. This is very confusing for the customers.

I thought to solve this I would have to open another paypal account but after reading this thread I'm not so sure.

Anyone any ideas how I can get around this please? - thanks

PayPal have rights to collect your IP browser info . session cookie and TIME and many more .. all thisg get update in their SAS Software and Proc or macro will track you out that you have multiple account .. and the day will come they have rights to limited your all Account

So better link all email or web to your single account

If the old account closed, may someone create new account with the same level and the same name?
