Here are two web sites using vastly different marketing approaches: http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/carp-special-offer.html And http://totalskincaresolutions.com/ (Sorry, I do not yet qualify for live links) Now, each site is selling something. My site is the skin site. I need to know what sites traditionally convert to sales more. The first site appeals to me but it is not very attractive. There are no photos or anything, but let's face it...it's an RSS feed generator. You do not exactly need glamor shots of this sort of thing. Still, being one page has its rewards. Now my web site could be fit on one page with some doing. In fact, I considered going in that direction, but in the end it would have been miles long and not very pleasing to the eye. With this layout I just cannot stop looking at the site. I really like how it turned out (its only 24 hours young). Still, I want to do what works, and "works" means sales. I want to really motivate people to buy and buy again. So......... I want feed back....LOTS of hard and mean feed back, and praise too, if that is what you want to give me. Should I stick with what I have? Is what I have confusing? Does the splash page tell you what the site is about? Does it draw you in or does it drive you away? Should I use a one page format and would that convert to sales, or should I be patient and use this layout? I really want as many opinions as I can get. Thanks Timothy
