Multiple links to 1 site in sig. Good or bad?

Lets say my main page is best with 1 keyword...And i use that 1 keyword in my sigs linked to the main page...

and

Lets say on this same site...i have another section/category/page which would be best used with an alternative keyword...And i add that keyword to my sig linked to the other page on the site...

Is this bad in any sort of way?

I think as long as the forum allows you to put a sig with two links to the same domain, I don't see what's wrong with it.

 

I think it's OK. There are many directories around which allow you to have a link to the home page and also to several sub-pages. The common limit seems to range from 3 to 6.

 

Hi 2 FN, if you can , go for 3. That's what one "guru" suggested to me. It would be very unusual not to find advice for this in the "TOS" of the article sites - or wherever you post

It seems that the general concensus is the more the better, so am I right in thinking google won't penalise you for multiple backlinks to different pages of your website from one external page?

I would have thought having multiple backlinks to the same page of your site (possibly with different keywords) on one external page would be penalised though, am I right in thinking this?

It doesn't seem like it would be a problem, I do that myself.

 

I don't think so, its a different forum each time and ultimately your promoting the same site.
