xxxxxxxx.com/ pagecreatedinenglish.html xxxxxxxxx.com/pagecreatedinturkish.html xxxxxxxxxxx.com/pagecreatedinfrench.html how google will rank them ? better for seo or not ..
Would be better to use xxxx.com/en/page.html xxxx.com/tr/page.html xxxx.com/fr/page.html and geo-target target the subdirectories in webmaster's tools. But if you are going to use different domain names, and can afford regiona tld, then xxx.com / xxx.tr / xxx.fr would be even better. No need to geolocate them in webmaster's tools. Hope it helps.
Yes, buying local domains would be your best choice. Local .TLDs rank extremely well with even basic SEO. If you don't want to spend money on domains I would suggest you to use subdomains instead.
No, don't be dumb and buy individual domains. Just do blah.com/fr, blah.com/sp, etc I did that for one of my sites and its the way to go.
to make it more cheaper.. you can try using script.. which you can translate a particular page on different language.. I use it on one of my blog.. and it works..
Don't ever think of using different TLD. More domains means more hard work and distributed results. Having all the pages on a single websites and all the link you builded pointed to a single domain can make it a bigger success. In internet competition 1+1=11 .... also for different langauages issue ... you can use stampavideo advice ...
If it is a bigger application or site, it is better if individual domain is set up but for only a small site, the subfolder is just enough...
personally i will make the home page www.sitename.com and then other languages will go to fr.sitename.com, en.sitename.com etc
I have been toying with the same, going the /fr, /es, etc route. What script is everyone using? I have experimented with the one I found on Netbuilders forum, but I am not sure if there are any better ones around.
