Hi to all I am in the process of optimizing my webpages with the relevant keyword phrases. Is it possible to optimize a webpage for more then ONE keyword phrase? Lets say i want to optimize for the phrase "XXXXX YYYYY". BUT i also want to optimize my pages for the keyword phrase "XXXXX ZZZZZ". The word ZZZZZ is a synonym of the word YYYYY on my page and thats why i want to optimize my page for two keyword phrases. If i search on Google for the two different phrases i always get different results BUT the two phrases are 100% related to each other. So: a.) Is it a good idea to optimize the pages for more then ONE keyword phrase? If so how many keyword phrases are still good? up to three? up to four? or is two keyword phrases the better choice? b.) When i optimize my webpages with my keyword phares i know that i have to put them in the page title and inside of <H1><H2> etc Tags. Also i put them inside of the HTML code in the META keyword section. Do i have to put them together everywhere? Suppose i insert them as a header for an article. Do i have to write for example "BLA BLA BLA BLA XXXXX YYYYY BLA BLA BLA BLA" or "BLA BLA BLA XXXXX BLA BLA BLA BLA YYYYY BLA BLA BLA BLA" or "BLA BLA BLA YYYYY BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA XXXXX BLA BLA" I would be really to happy to get some help on this. Also if you have a good article of how to optimize for MULTIPLE KEYWORD PHRASES that would be great! Thanks George

I didn't read beyond the first paragraph, but what you said there makes sense and should be pretty efficient, if the two keyphrases have one or two common keywords and one or two synonyms. However, you can try focusing a page on one topic. On the page, write content naturally, using synonyms, derivatives, plurals/singulars, etc. This will get you more related keywords than some SEO. Just place your keywords right, and you'll be fine.
Another technique is to use relevant words to your topic, but NOT the keyword, also known as Latent Semantic Indexing. So if you use words like 'mouse', 'keyboard', 'monitor', 'cpu' most people will know that your keyword is 'computer'. All of those things are relevant to computers. Believe it or not, it helps, especially with Google. The reason is that Google is very interested in stopping spammers, who fill pages with gibberish sprinkled with keywords. By using this technology Google hopes to reward more relevant sites, that contain the keyword, like 'computer' as well as the relevant words to that topic that are NOT keywords. PM me for more. Be$t of luck!
