I'm sure most people know that an application on facebook is giving away $100 in free facebook ads. Has anyone been able to set up multiple accounts and get the coupon to work?

Yes, that's a good deal for facebook...being free.

But I've had a really hard time converting on anything with facebook. 500 plus targeted hits to something very specific, with the sales copy telling people upfront how much it costs = 0 sales.

Pretty bad. I'm thinking that clickbank and others don't allow referals through facebook ads??? They must have a system.

Yes theres no problem using the visa app with multiple accounts. I must agree with the poster that says its a waste though. I used £1000 worth of clicks (thankfully free courtest of visa) for total sales of £60. Converted on other mediums around 20p profit per click.

Facebook simply isnt the way forward!

Facebook ads work just that you have to target the right set of people. besides, there are other (lots) ways to get traffic to your site using facebook. Its population base alone should tell enough if you know what you are doing

I haven't had much luck with facebook conversions. I've given up on it for now and focusing only on search engine traffic. I figure that people are not looking for a sales pitch (even a free product) when they are doing their thing on facebook. I know that I ignore anything that looks like an add when I'm on.

The one thing I use facebook for as far as my online marketing is doing niche research and occasional link or referral building
