    Hi,

I have been reading up for multiple domains + duplicate content and I have some questions. The thing is
    - they say multiple domains for several countries is all good
    - duplicate content is bad

Well I'm a bit in the middle and not sure what to do
I have one website which is 100% cloned on 2 servers
    - UK server with .eu domein - meant to serve all site visitors from Europe
    - US server with .com domain - meant to serve rest of the world

Both sites have various language versions: Dutch, English, Italian and Spanish in the form of subdomains: it.domain.com and it.domain.eu, es.domain.com - es.domain.eu etc. Having the 2 servers is not just an SEO thing although I want it to be, but also very important a speed thing.

At the moment I have a htaccess 301 redirect to either the .eu or .com domain based on IP country location.
However I'm starting to doubt this is the right choice. Maybe I should not force the redirect upon people. But if I don't I'm afraid for duplicated contact penalties.

What do you guys think would be the best way to go?

    Best regards,
