    Here is the deal:

i have two domain names. apples.com and oranges.com. my apples.com pages point at the same files as oranges.com apples.com/aboutus.html is the same file as oranges.com/aboutus.html

    apples.com gets type-in traffic

oranges.com is being optimized for the web

when i do a duplicate content search, both URLs show up and they have different PR.

i want only oranges.com to be indexed by google.

someone told me that 301 redirects will not work because they are hosted on the same account (godaddy, ugg).

    what should i do?

can someone please help me? thanks.

Alter the robots.txt file on apples.com so the spiders don't crawl it.

Save that as robots.txt and upload to root
