Hey guys and gals, Ive registered 6 different domains all of which include keywords for my main website, what should i do to best optimise the domains that i have registered? Do i create a splash page that links to my main website or do i just redirect the domain names?? Thanks in advance Kieran
Do you have the ability to build up and maintain 6 different websites? If not then you might want to consider redirecting them, though if they are new domains you will most likely not get any SEO benefit from doing this.
I agree, new domains are useless if you're planning on backlinking them back to your site. You might as well start some proper websites and get them ranked before linking them back to your current website. Also, deep links are a better way of linking your site rather than creating a splash page.
I have the ability to setup all of the domain i have got as seperate sites and then link them back to my main site. Should i make the other websites have the same keywords as my main website or have different keywords??
i would say going with six websites....it is not an easy job to do..... start with one or two....this will give better results.. than six...!!!!
I think its better to do SEO of those websites by posting some good posts and when those domains become popular enough then link that to your main website as now it is useless to use those domains. You could also use those domains for reviewing your site
