Multiple Domain names strategy

    Do you register all the majors tlds? (.com,.net.org.info...)?
    And is it right to point a .com and .net to the same website?

    Sure it's right, but I only do it if I need to. I will perhaps buy a .net and a .com and park one of them. But I don't usually buy more than two.

    I think you should buy both if you are really intending to advertise and spread your site like crazy or if your domain name is a high ranked name , otherwise if it is for personal use then only the .com would be enough.
