Multiple Description Meta Tags, Is this a good thing?

I was looking at this site which had multiple meta desc. tags. I am new to SEO and am working on helping my father's real estate site get a better PR. I currently only have 1 line of meta desc. I know stuffing isn't a good thing, but what about multiple lines?

Just use 1 meta tag for the description. That line wont really help you a bunch for SEO purposes either.

Also you mentioned you are helping the site get a better PR. There is a HUGE difference between SEO and getting a better PR. My advice is dont focus on PR becuase it doesnt mean anything and it wont help you make more money.

You mean meta description long enough to fit in one line that it wraps into the second one? That might help in ranking, might not help. But remember that the snippets used and displayed by some search engines on results pags are picked using the desc content so if your entry is very long, likely it's gonna be truncated.
