Multiple Databases

    Is it possible to search across multiple databases as if they were one? If so, is it plausible?

    I'm fairly sure you can't, at least not in in the database platforms I have used.

    I'm wondering if there is any way to script a multiple database search somewhat similar to the way dogpile, indeed and kayak aggregates search results from several different sources
