Multiple BANS Stores w/ one domain... subdomains?

Will be trying something w/ a BANS site(s) and need to know input on people using it on multiple subdomains...

    So for instance...

    abcstore.(domain).com
    abcstore2.(domain).com
    abcstore3.(domain).com

Any performance issues when hosting w/ subdomains? Or am I better off purchasing 3 separate domains and loading BANS on those speedwise...

Just checking to see if I load it on subdomains if i'd see a major drop in performance and site loading/performance vs just taking the time to pop it on 3 domains separately..

    thanks

Although I don't use BANS (I write my own screwed up eBay scripts)... I use plenty of subdomains, and have had zero problems. I've got a few 'nonsense' domains that I purchased purely to put subdomain eBay stores on... and it's working :)

As long as your hosting allows multiple databases (1 for each BANS store), then there should be no problems.

    concur.

I have three BANS stores one on xxx.com and then au.xxx.com and UK.xxx.com and no problems with seo or performance but as kerosene mentioned you do need a seperate sql database for each store (is there an echo in here?)

i am with hostgator and unlimited hosting and database and at 9.9 per month not expensive.

    good luck
