multiple backlinks from same site

I commented on 1 post of this blog and wound up with about 50 or more backlinks according to Google, Majestic, Moz. One comment does not equal 50 links. Is this because the post along with my comment was syndicated.
By the way. according to Moz the site later deleted my link (I think, I am new to Moz).

Is syndication the answer or is something else happening.

    Thanks for considering my question.

yeap, it might mean that your link is displaying on many of their pages. The site might be using something like "recent comments" feature bringing your comment with a link to 50 pages. If that's the case, the 49 links will dissapear soon.

This case happen when the blog which you post comment, have some settings, such as Most recent comment with link, display on all pages. In this case, when you post a comment, your comment (with link in comment, or in your name) will display in all pages. That's your luck while that page indexed at the time your link in all page. But your link won't in there the next indexed.
