Multiple Anchor text to the same page

    Hi All,

    I would like to get an advise from you. One of my site contains many text links in the home page that points to a common page with in the website. Will Google penalize my website for giving this kind of linking?

    Please explain.

    Just make it look as natural as you can. Too many of the same keywords is not good.

    This is fine, it's called "internal linking" and actually promotes better crawling\indexing of your web pages. I do suggest you not sure many different types of anchor text on the same page, it will dilute the actual value of the keyword\phrase to that web page. Why not use different anchors text on different pages, that would be more effective.

    are you saying that if i have to many of the same anchor text links pointing to a page in my site, that this is a bad thing?


    Also, I agree with ssandecki, try to mix it up a little
