as far as i understand some "gurus" like perry marshall recommend using different adwords accounts to truly dominate a niche. one would then bid on the same keywords but with landing sites that are differentiated in the offering to cater for different sub-niches or -segments within the same keywords. the google TOS seem to be very clear that multiple accounts are not allowed https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=8759. however i've heard several online marketers brag about their many adwords accounts. what are the experiences of fellow dp members with mutliple adwords accounts? is anyone using that niche domination strategy by bidding on the same keywords from two or more accounts?
I think the main intent could be exactly niche domination. But their accounts have to for different address, different names, different CCs. Their Sites on different domains with unique content. BUT DONt do that....
I've had multiple adwords and adsense accounts for YEARS now. I own 3 S corporations so without breaking the TOS I am able to have a total of 4 accounts for each. One personal and three business.
I'm pretty sure if you use the same keywords and adgroups you will get banned but antthing other than that I'm sure you can pull it off.
Is your name and address the same on each one? In other words, is it obvious that all the accounts are yours? But I have to agree with newtienkhom, Google really does just seem to care about money when it comes to adwords.
is not like that, If you violate the rules, they kick you out - no matters how much you spend or how long you are an AdWords user.
thanks for all the input! makes sense, but you would still be breaking the TOS if you were bidding on the same keywords from different accounts? what's the benefit of multiple accounts then?
Multiple campaigns Ban, they normally freeze all accounts without warning. They avoid conflict with customer, so they don't tell you what is going on.
Instead of spending all this time on multiple camp. why dont you try and work on your ads so lower the cpc, higher position, youspent less money and you have more chances to dominate a niche!
