Multiple Adsense on 1 page.

I just bought a site from this forum and I am working on editing it.

I am wondering is it allowed to have me put adsense AND someone else put adsense on their page?

For example (site is no where near complete, at least a couple weeks of edits left): http://padcraze.com/p/hrdm05/

On this site if I put adsense on top and left lets say, while I allow them to add their own adsense or whatever else they want to add to the right side.

    Is that allowed?

    Thanks!

(Basically this will allow both me and the page creator to profit)

    Hello,

Google doesn't clearly state if it's allowed or not but to quote from a thread also here at DP:

DP itself is running an adsense sharing program, however we're talking about 2 ads from 2 different clientIDs on the same page. I'm not even sure if that's possible. It's worth trying though (i don't have 2 accounts to try it though) but as far as Google is concerned it should be the same thing as rotating the code.

    Hope this helps

Yeah, it should be fine. You're just responsible if someone does click fraud or it's on a icky site.

You can use different adsense accounts in one page provided that there is only 3 ad blocks per page.

Google recommend no more than 3 units/page but never said it's forbidden to put more.

This is Google tip for me in October 2008:

    Dear Publisher,

Here is your optimization report for the month of October. After an automatic review of your sites, we think you might be able to improve your monetization using the following tips:

Placing more than one ad unit on a page often generates more revenue.
Many of your sites only contain one ad unit.
How can I fix this? This tip will no longer be shown in your optimization reports [undo]

We hope these tips are helpful, and encourage you to experiment using different layouts and formats--no two sites monetize the same way!

    Sincerely,
    Google Adsense
