What date does it say it was last updated in your account? I'm showing that it says it was today on this end.
Do we have to do anything once we have set up to run 5 ads? Do we send you a PM or something to get our weight updated? I have updated one site. Are there instructions yet for VB3 for my other site? In the VB archive can we move the ads to the bottom instead of the top?
If you can't wait for a normal update and you changed the number of ads, post the URL here and I'll trigger it manually. Nothing yet for vB3 and multiple ads. You can put it where ever you want in the vB archive archive.
Doh! I forgot about the forum! Right now the 5 ads are only displayed on 129100 of the 130000 indexed pages, and we can't have that now, could we I'll fix it in a minute...
Look forward to the VB multiple ads If you need a guinea pig to see if the instructions are idiot proof Im your idiot
Shawn, could you validate my site again, please? www.reversi.se Everything should check out fine now. Thanks!
The total weight is always going up because of new sites... but my best guess would be a total weight increase of about 15-20% because of the multiple ad option.
That's not bad, then... when we updated, and I added the 4 extra ads, my eith went up by about 15x. Eventually, is there a plan to show the total weight of the network to co-op members, so we can gauge our weight better?
Yes, I'm still waiting too. I've already implemented 5 ads in the archive, but waiting for instructions on how it needs to be done in the forums. Can't we just stick it in the footer under the VB copyright notice?
I'm going to be changing the vBulletin setup a little bit, and that is going to be one of the new options (site-wide).
Okay, for anyone that wants to try out the site-wide vBulletin instructions as a guinea pig, you can set your account (under Edit Account Settings) to 'vBulletin 3.x Forum (Site-wide)', and go through the setup instructions.
