Multiple ad-groups?

I just had a question from one of my clients regarding ad-sense. He mentions that there can be up to three ad-groups on a website. I'm not too sure what he means by having three ad groups as the assigned adsense code needs to be inserted into all three of the .inc files to display the ads that pertain to the website's category.

Am I missing something here or can there be three different ad-groups or three different categories that can be displayed on a site, and if so, does anyone know how this is acheieved?

    Thanks in advance!

    Brad :D

I think he was refering to ad blocks. You can have 3 blocks of Adsense ads on a page, it's not uncommon to see a large rectangle block in the center of the page, a skyscraper ad on one side of the page, and adlinks near top navigation. This forum has one banner style ad at the top and an AdLinks group after the first post in a thread. You could include a different category for each block.

Yeah I think that's what my client's looking for is having three ad-blocks on his site. One is currently there now at the very top. How would you go about adding the other two blocks or is there a link that I can be referred to that can tell you more about that?

    Thanks!
    Brad.

Wow. Talk about ad blindness, I've been using this forum for months and have NEVER noticed the ad link block under the first post of the the thread until now.
