Hey guys, new to this forum, and continue to be a part of it for some time to come. I am a new comer to the e commerce world and had a few questions. I am going to be hosting various 3rd party sellers on my website, likely with the payment system of paypal. each third party(store) will have their own paypal account ect.. (is paypal the best option?). My question essentially is, when a buyer is purchasing multiple items from multiple different stores, will they have to individually purchase each item from each paypal account? If so this seems like a deterrent to purchase multiple items as more work is needed to make the purchase. is there any way around this, or any suggestions you have for a quick and easy payment option? Maybe i just need to spiff up on my payment options. ANY help is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!
Yeah this seems like it would annoy your customers if they have to fill out a Paypal form for each payment. What about using an open source shopping cart like Open cart, or if you need something more scalable you can try Magneto. Another suggestion is that you collect all the money to one Paypal account and then disperse what you earn to the correct third party sellers. This will be a little bit more work for you, but will make your customers a lot happier. On a side note: I've just started a startup to make this exact problem a whole lot simpler. Everything is done for you, so all you have to do is post and collect your money, no more shopping carts, programming, separate stores, and all that other hard stuff.
