Anyone doing multiple 301's out there? Wondering if this is a problem. We are currently redirecting one page to another via a 301 redirect. But, we now want to redirect that page to another one.

layers of redirects will cause hick-ups with the SE's and a lot of surfers. Do what dchoe says. (I believe there's a firefox preference or plugin that says how many re-directs before it errors, and there's definitely that configuration option in a few proxy servers I've played with)

I agree, you can do as many 301s as you want but redirect them to the same new url not old -> old -> old -> new url.
