Multipal domains on 1 ip

I was wondering about the following

I have 20 domainnames that I am working on right now and that all have to do with holliday but all a difrent item. I want to interlink them like on the site for spain links to the site about france etc. Basicly I will use the same layout but with diffrent content.

Is it wise to have them on 1 ip? I have an account with hostgator to have unlimited domains but am worried I get penalized if I have them interlinkened as it is on the same ip. Outside links will be more then just the 20 but it will take time to build that up.

I have read else where that more than the odd link can harm you if you are within the same C class IP range. I will try to find the link as they did 'tests' for serveral months.
I currently rotate my links between sites but intend to buy another reseller package asap.

No inorder to have the maximum effect you need different class-c ips.

Yes, it has been stated that it could be bad to have all sites crosslinked if they all share one IP.

If its on one IP - even on one C-Block - Google will devalue the links.

You should link them to let visitors know about your other sites though.

Your best bet is to get sites on a different block and interlink those blocks.

I think you can have 2-3 sites on each IP, and if you buy different hosting you automatically get different C-classes. That solves the problem=)

I think that the best solution is to take the most unimportant sites and buy for them a very cheap web hosting (1$ web hosting), and it will cost you $12 for a year, so just take 2-3 different hosting 

    you can try and used:

I don't know either, but I have 5 websites on the same IP (different topic)

Linked to each other,, one of them PR5 and another are PR4

I don't think anything wrong about that.

I vote for different IPs. Both in my readings and my experience, SEs devalue backlinks from the same IP. If you're talking about linking two sites, there's probably no problem. If you're talking about linking 20 sites...may be a problem. ;)

Although it is said that you should have different C class IPs, I have like 20 sites on one IP for two years now and their crosslinking makes them stronger. They get regular visits from google and they have very good serps.

I truly question whether or not it matters whether you are using one IP or many IPs.

I thing you can use touch graph and see the linking scheme.

i would say, it does not matter that much if you are doing SEO enough to get other in bound links from other quality sites. Interlinking would surely help in getting PR propogated thru all your sites. Thus, inter linking all your sites would be good decision but only having that to increase pr would be bad one.

Well, it`s better to be safe than sorry in my opinion so why not buy another (cheap) hosting plan. Also you didn`t say why you want to link your sites: for traffic or for PR? If the latter I suggest spike and hub method.

I cross link only on my new sites. I don't do it for PR benefits as Google should realise this so I shouldn't get banned. I only do it so that my visitors can see that there are other sites that may interest them that I have to offer.

How I link to my sites is by using an ad script. This script then rotates an ad unit that has about 4 or 5 little ad blocks contained within the ad unit and is then used as Adsense's default.

If adsense's ads show up on my site then mine will not. So I don't think the search engine robots will be able to find the links anyway, but I am not 100% sure on this.
