My company will have big site - portal translated to about 50 languages for more than 50 countries.

SEO will be very importand because each of the country will have long tail and will bring many users.

I have few questions to people which know something about seo on multilingual site:

    1) Is it better to have for each country national domain - example.de, exaple.co.uk etc and do seo for each of the domain ?
It will not have problem with geolocalization then but each of the domain will need seo from start /0

    2) Maybe the best option will be domain example.com and each country in subdomen fr.example.com etc ?

    3) What strategy should i use for seo on such multilingual portal ? Should I give a SEO job to one big seo company, or beetter option to few smaller seo companies ? Do You know seo companies which can do seo on such many markets, languages/countries ?

    4) What is the best method to pay for SEO. Should i pay for success (example top10), monthly fee or ?

    Regards

1,2) I would either go with subdomain or something like www.domain.com/en and www.domain.com/es etc

    3) totally depends on how much you know about SEO and how much time you have, your budget and goals. Give me more info and I can better answer your question.

    4) if an SEO company offers guaranteed services, its a good sign to run away from them. An honest SEO company will charge a one time fee to fix your on-site SEO issues and start the campaign and a monthly (mostly flat) fee afterwards.

    Good luck

Hmm for me domain.com/es is the worst option. How is it possible to have top ranking in such page if You have 50 languages. I think it is not possible and main problem will be geolocalization (i think it will be big problem to have top rank for example with domain.com in google.com and domain.com/gb for co.uk)

I know about SEO much but it is not possible to have top rank in 50 languages doing all things alone. I can do seo for 2-3 countries but rest i will pay for proffesional SEO.

Do somebody know company which can handle SEO for min. 10 countries/languages ?
