multilingual articles

suppose i have article site which have articles in english.i translate those articles in few more languages and put the those articles on the subdomain of the same site.
will this be treated as duplicate content.

I think it's legitimate to have translated articles in different pages.

I am not an expert but the more content you have, the better it is for seo. And you may also know where your traffic is coming from.

 

Of course not. Search engine bots are not smart enough to read articles and translate them into different languages and do the compare.

 

translating articles is of course a good way of getting international visitors but does anybody know a logical translation tool ? It would be great if there was a tool to create constant pages with translated articles. I don't mean babelfish or anything like that but they can be useful, too.

 

i am thinking of hiring some staff but i am not sure if its worth.In first phaze i want to convert articles to chinese.
will chinese version be any good?

it's not duplicate coz google can not know and cannot translate to compare the meaning.

if your visitor are not only english speaking people, of course it worth it. (english is not the only language in the world XD and it's also not the language that people use the most XD)

 

Niche mania has a great translator tool that I use on a lot of sites. It is easy to install, and will be indexed by google. I really get a large increase in traffic when I employee it at a site
