Why are you selling this site?
Not being able to update the website from over 1 month due to various other projects. The website has a really good potential as it has good quality backlinks that includes backlink from wikipedia as well

How is it monetized?
Currently, the website is monetized through Google adsense. However, you can expect some paid post and guest post offers. We have not yet published any paid post on our website but this can be a good source of income as we often get requests for paid guest posts

Does this site come with any social media accounts?
Yes, Facebook page access will be provided. I have set up an IFTTT receipe to auto publish content on the Facebook page

How much time does this site take to run?
Honestly, it depends on what you want to publish. We usually publish around 2-4 articles per week. It could take 4 hours per week if you are familiar with the Indian topics.

What challenges are there with running this site?
The biggest challange I faced was to product good number of content. Overall, Indian niche sites have somewhat less CPC. Besides that my recent venture into Australian market along with few other project has kept me extremely busy which led to inconsistency.

Whats's the monthly investment for the site? Are you having paid writers?? How much they charge ?

 

I will add you in Google analytics. The spike in May month was due to the result. We wrote a post about GATE result which ranked on 1st page (around 8th position at that time) which led to small traffic spike. Feel free to ask your doubt

The website has some good solid long term articles ranking on 2nd and 3rd page which needs pushing. I usually invest around Rs. 1000-1500 per month on the website. Last month, I invested around Rs. 600 (approximately $10) only. I have an inhouse team that handles the content writing part so my costs are little bit lower.

If I remember correctly, then we posted around 4 articles per week on average last month. I can help you with the articles for initial 10-15 days after buying the website for smooth handover, but after that you need to hire your own content writer.

what is the expense of hosting? Shared hosting is enough? can you share your hosting plan, company and expense info?

 

Currently, I am using reseller plan of leapswitch.com. Shared hosting should be enough to handle this. I have a good experience with them so I do recommend them.

Hosting cost would be around $20 per anum. Once again, since I am on a reseller plan with several other websites on it, it would be difficult to tell you the exact price.

Would it be possible to add a feature to enable the visitors to the site to add content, which could of course be approved for posting by the admin.

That way it would only take a few minutes a day to update the site, making the site a lot more viable in more ways that one.

I would be happy to pay for the addition of the above feature if required.
