Multi-Forum Host

    Hello,

    I would like to start a Multi-Forum host.

    I was wondering what other options do I have excluding, IPB, PHPbb, MyBB.

    I heard there was this free type of IPB, that you can customize also.

    If someone knows that Free IPB (Not the real IPB), the one that someone made it like very similar to it.

    Also, what do you guys request, I'm starting a forum host for my members on my forums.

    They have clans and they need forums, and it's needed to be customized.

    If you guys don't understand me, Multi Forums host is like invisionfree.com/ipbfree.com

    I really want another solution other the ones I listed above.

    have you tried searching google? there are several scripts that do this

    i have seen a few scripts around. Running a forum host can get costly.

    Well, if you don't want to go with any of those forums you listed, you may want to check out AEF Forum software. I have actually started development of a multiforums script for AEF. I also have a multiforums script that I developed for MyBB 1.2 and I am upgrading to work with the upcoming MyBB 1.4. Both the AEF and MyBB script can be downloaded free at: http://www.webringamerica.com/mybbmf/

    Otherwise, if you're looking for unknown / new forum software, maybe you would be interested in Callisto. It is a Polish software but someone made an English translation for it. There currently is not a multiforums script for it though.

    Then there's always ICEBB and XMB forums. In my opinion they are not as good as MyBB and the rest of the big forum software, but no one is hosting them. Then there's Burning Board. You are allowed to make a multiforums script for the lite 2.0 version if you're interested.
