Multi Blog System

    It took me while to find a good free multi blog system. I scouted many, installed a lot of them and tested them, my conclusion is:

    www.plogworld.com <= A great system :)

    I tried others like Drupal and WPMU and none of them live up to Plog.

    I hope this will help some people.

    Best regards,

    Good to hear. I will check it out.

    I have heard rave reviews about B2evolution and that's what I was planning to use on a new blog network. But I'll look at PW too.

    You just have to try it out to feel the advantages over WPMU , it takes a while to upload all plog files to your server but it's worth it, open up a subdomain and give it a go.

    Thank you for this - I've been struggling with WPMU, it's not ready yet!

    I have mixed feelings about B2Evo. Personally I think it is unnecessarily complicated. It is confusing getting started with it and then feels limiting once you get the hand of it. The template system doesn't impress me at all (compared to Drupal). It is kind of fun to use however.

    As a "blog network" - I think it does a muti inter-linked/related blog thing, but I am not too sure it would be fun to manage a bunch of users with independent blogs.

    Try out a demo before you commit.

    You all know about Open Source CMS right?
