Hi, Our site is ranking on 1st page of google.de for good terms like send money, transfer money, money transfers but hardly makes it to the end of second or third page in google.com, google.co.uk, google.fr, google.es so on. Our site is multilingual, English the main one, UK ip, UK address, .com domain and in no way we have more german inlinks compared to the other languages, english links are the vast majority of all. I just wonder how can we rank there in google.de but get stuck in the other google domains... Any ideas? Thanks
What is your domain name? Without knowing I'd only be guessing. Maybe you don't have more German links but perhaps there is less competition (fewer sites competing) or while there might be more results in Google.de perhaps those sites don't do as good a job as similar sites in other indexes (weaker but not necessarily less competition). It could be lots of things.
Hi, thank you for the interest. Sorry but I cannot provide the URL. The thing you suggest with competition makes sense but in my case exactly the same powerful sites rank on top across all google domains and there's not much shuffle in the top 20 results no matter the domain and the display language. Its only for google.de in english where we rank somewhere between them on 1st page while on all other google domains we keep 16-25 position. Regards
