mtv, vh1 type php cms script?

    anybody know of a good script that will pretty much replicate sites like MTV, VH1 etc etc?

    I tried phpcow recently, but its too darn complicated. Im now thinking to turn to wordpress with some heavy modifications.

    Just need the ability to post news articles, manage artists -their albums, lyrics, videos etc.

    any ideas?

    I think you can set up and design Joomla to replicate those sites. www.joomla.org

    wordpress is always a starting point, but i remember that i saw somewhere in DP that MTV's site was a Drupal based one... can someone confirm this?
