Hi all - I have been having a problem lately. I will search under MSN. When seeking to return to home (MSN Home Page), I get: http://msnia.login.live.com/login.srf?lc=************ (incrediblylong string). If I type www.msn.com into the browser window, I still get this weird page, asking for my msn login information. Is this a hijack? MSN glitch? Seems weird that this is all of a sudden coming up, particularly since e-mail (MSN, browser based e-mail) is fine. Thanks.
What's weird is that I have onboard: zonealarms nod32 spyware guard webroot a-squared ewido security ad-aware spybot -and probably others I have forgotten. I have run, several times, the updates for all these and then ran all under safe startup. Nothing but cookies (tacoda, about, couple others) comes up. This, even though the computer is noticeably slower and msn mail hangs up quite a bit. I am not adept enough at reading Hijack This, or else I'd go this way...but on looking at the HJT log, nothing leaps out as bizarre. Any suggestions?
