I think MSN is changing very fast and indexing at a great speed. a site of mine that i registered 4 days back has nearly 1500 pages in msn index. Its a good thing But MSN sends no traffic, google still rules. Lets see if they get some traffic as well.
1500+ pages indexed in only four days sounds great - how did you manage to do that? - did you have a link from a really good site?
Isnt it true that google has about 80% rule on the internet? I thought I read something once they definitely have a large part of it anyway.
Yes could you share what you did? I have site with lot of back links but still not get spidered even 1/100 of my site pages.
It's just that MSN is giving priority to new websites. I've notice twice or thrice MSNBot activity on my newer sites (1-6 months old) than on my older sites (1-7 years old) However, i don't have enough stats for now but it could be that an MSN sandbox is under way. (not saying this to panic anyone, it's just a wild thought) ****************************** Decorate your Home Office wall --> Cheap Posters and Prints Motivate yourself during hard times! --> | Motivational Posters | Career Inspirational Posters | ******************************
I think MSN is headed in a pretty promising direction, and I suspect the heavy hitting activity is a function of their attempts to get up to speed - not to establish a kind of sandbox. My look at their results doesn't seem to show any incentive for a sandbox - they don't seem to be weighting the factors that would necessitate sandboxing. G didn't implement that out of spite, it serves some function. I don't think MSN is in a position to need to do that. They've got a lot of work to do, but I think what they've come up with is pretty promising. Also, traffic seems to vary by niche. Some industries do very well in MSN and others see no need to even worry about ranking with them. Those are my thoughts. But what do I know.
