Hi there, Im wondering if there is a Msn update? My site is on top. 1 position on my his keywords on msn "luxury watch" "www.luxury-watchcollection.com/" i start to optimize, and this is almost 1month and 8 days. i experience this past daysn weird. yesterday i try to check my site on msn se. it jumps from no.1 to no.5 and his PR has gone. this morning all things back to normal. is there anyone here expirience or have an idea what this mean? thanks Jaguar-Archie
my sites are worse, some keywords are showing up for number 8. position last week and now all my targetted keywords are gone. It's not back yet, hopefully by this week it will be back again. Anyone experience too?
MSN does update its SERPS every day dude It sometiems even seems that the marketing efforts in week one show the results in week 2.
im having big problems with msn serps for my new sites....its been 25 days , my new sites are indexed, but arent showing at all in msn serps for their keywords !
but MSN is excellent for new sites...because it takes 2-3 months minimum to get good ranking in google and yahoo ..however in MSN , 2 weeks and your site would get traffic. Then you'd wait for the big traffic from yahoo and google to come after couple of months. but this month i donnu why it was different for MSN =( . Without MSN, it would take loooong time for our new sites to see some decent traffic
It seems like MSN is always updating. Since Google delivers way more traffic, it is almost a waste of time to worry about any other search engine.
Yesterday I was no#2 for the keyword "nail fungus treatment" and today my site is nowhere to be found. Anyway I get google traffic so still good. Maybe my site will be rank high again by MSN in the coming days since MSN is always updating.
I agree Google is number 1 but MSN tries harder or was that Avis rent a car ha ha. MSN has been good to me for a Newbee.
my new site is showing some bigger than usual changes in the past couple of days. the old and established sites are showing the regular flux.
It has definitely been much slower to rank new pages recently. It's seemed pretty random to me - I have one site that had new pages on there for a little about a month and a half that just got the pages ranked. Another one has pages that are even older than that still unranked. The index pages of both sites are/were ranking for the terms based on the links, but the actual pages couldn't get in there. My guess? This is something to do with live.com. It's supposed to be going up this summer to basically replace MSN, and I'd bet they undergo major changes before then.
I think whats happening with MSN is you need to keep adding links to your site all the time. When you stop getting new links your rankings go down. You can get to the top pretty quickly by using your keywords in the anchor text of your backlinks. Thats just what I have found with MSN.
