Agreed, but it is the engine for Windows live.com and MS is spending lots of cash on promoting Windows Live. I think it is *the* search that will be integrated with Windows Vista and therefore shipping with every Windows system. Now, I'm not betting that it will be success. But, I do think it is worth a little time keeping an eye on. /tom/
Funny, I have always done much better with MSN than with Google or Yahoo. I have a site I launched two weeks ago...its already at the top of some pretty decent search terms at MSN. 30 Uniques per day from MSN after only two weeks online is pretty nice in my books.
Hi, I have noticed that my site's ranking moved up a few spot with the "free stuff" search term, as the result of the change. For some strange reason, MSN has never picked up my home page. It only lists my forums page.
Thats my reason for asking about market share. The trend that was happening was MSN losing ground while ASK is gaining.
Not a bad update for my web design site. We went to #2 for "Seattle Website Design" #7 for "W3C Validation", and to #13 for "Online Marketing". I'll take that.
The update looks like a good change for MSN....... Looks much better to me..... I haven't ripped it apart much, but cleaner sites appearing in my opinion....
