I have MSN regularly visit my site without a problem. It's not a forum. I think it's a link popularity thing for the most part. In 3 weeks I had 300 pages indexed. Now at about the 6 week mark I'm seeing 1200 pages indexed.

I would think a forum would get crawled pretty easily. One thing I might suggest is submitting your rss feeds (assuming you have them for your threads) to ping-o-matic every day or two. That should generate some backlinks pretty easily.

I appreciate the response. MNS visits my forum everyday but does not deep crawl. The forum has over 1000 back links and a PR of 4.

Do you have inbound links to internal pages, I found using the Coop for this a great help for all bots except for Yahoo.

Well I have 17,000+ pages indexed on Google and 3,500+ only on MSN for my forum, but it's #1 on MSN and #11 on Google, so I still get way more traffic from MSN :) I think MSNs index isn't old enough to have all those pages indexed, Google took quite a while for those.

It seems to me that it's hard to get internal pages to show up the SERPS. My index's do amazing, but the internal pages never appear
