Anyone else have this problem? With a newer site I got indexed in google and yahoo in about 1 to 3 days. It is now 2 1/2 months old and still not indexed in MSN. It Just takes forever. Can anyone give me tips on how to get indexed faster?

USe MSN's XML sitemap submission, do some social bookmarking - you should get indexed in the first few days. I have sites 2 weeks old ranking on big big phrases. MSN is cake

I noticed the same thing...the only saving grace is msn is in no way a top priority to me at all.

Not mine neither, I just want to be at least indexed with MSN. Google and Yahoo to target keywords.

Hi guys, I have a similar problem with a site that I'm promoting for a client, it's kinda embarrassing! The domain is about 6 months old, I've been promoting it for the last 2 1/2 months using 15 different linking methods (including several PR5's), it's got over 450 inbound links and the code validates to XHTML 1.0 using the w3c validator. The Live sitemap was submitted a few weeks back, but still no love from MSN/Live. My other client sites are walking all over MSN/Live, just this one site refuses to be indexed by them.

Try submitting your Live/MSN sitemap by adding the full path (including http://www.) to your XML sitemap after the = sign below.

    http://webmaster.live.com/ping.aspx?siteMap=
    Code (markup):
You will get a success message if it went through...

I have noticed the same thing and there doesn't seem to be an easy answer. I have added Sitemaps but to no avail. I will have 1 or 2 pages listed one day and the next day they will be gone.

I was just wondering how many content pages does your clients site have??? I am only having problems with this one site but I only have 14 content pages. If your clients content pages are low that might have something to do with it.

I have a friend that started his site with 50+ content pages and got indexed fast in MSN.

Maybe it's a sandbox type thing, I think MSN favors aged links.
I built a site on an aged domain I picked up on drop, there was never a site on the domain but there were some links to it from 2-3 years ago, it started getting amazing top rankings on MSN right away.

unfortunately, I can't even get that far, as the validation never works. I've tried on over a dozen of my sites, and get the same message:

don't bother yourself anymore to get easily index by msn, most of SEO Specialist care about google and yahoo only to get index they site because msn users are getting smaller in count and most of the advertisers are in favored in google.
