Hopefully they'll eliminate scraper sites and scummy redirect spammers like that soon. I've seen some pretty spammy scraper sites on Google lately too, actually. I'll try to dig up the searches I was doing when I came across them.

I'm constantly amazed at the ever increasing number of spammer/scraper sites on the web. Some people are making serious cash on these types of sites, no doubt. However, I'm betting on the fact that eventually all the SEs will be able to detect and elminate these types of sites. It'll be interesting to watch.

edit - just saw that you misspelled the name (which you acknowledged). I did the same search with last name misspelled on G, still got spammer results, but they weren't ranked as highly.

What do you expect? It's only 120 results and not even something people would search for. It even tells you what you should be searching for. I hardly even see this as a concern.

You're always going to get weird results when you mis-spell something. I find it amusing when mis-spelled searches of mine actually bring up relevant results - that someone actually published a bunch of information about a subject they couldn't even spell (although this can sometimes be a money-making strategy I suppose).
