MSN Search Results hijacked

    Well I just checked my cpanel latest visitors logs for a certain site and I saw a msn search. So I went ahead and I followed it to see who my copmpetitors were.

    Guess what... All links in that search were spam, redirects to adultfriendfinder, and my link wasn't even there. Besides the point that none of this makes any sense, those sites weren't even related to the searched keyword (which btw I know it has mistypes).

    Someone seems to have seriously bombed the msn search engine or my results are hijacked.

    The url of the search:
    http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?srch=106&FORM=AS6&q=voice+recored+free+softwere

    Preview of what I am getting:

    may be there be some problem with your area MSN,
    because now when i saw all results were fine,
    that can be any temporarily issue;
    but that was really a serious issue

    MSN sucks. But it doesn't redirect anymore. Have you checked your computer for adwares?

    I found out it is a problem only with my area MSN, I checked it with a proxy from another country and it showed acceptable results. Yes, none the less this shows how much msn is being bombed by spam

    The words in your search "recored" and "softwere" are spelled incorrectly, therefore in the search you posted MSN showed the 85 results that have those words and the others you searched for. Frankly I'd rather have that than the automatically "corrected" results. It's got nothing to do with MSN being "bombed by spam".

    froggy, just manually enter some of those urls in your toolbar and see the sites.. corrected results would have been better, at least in this case, believe me!

    This maybe that freaking hacker that is redirecting sites that rank high on Search engines, this happened to a friend of mine the hacker created a code in the htaccess of his sites something that redirected all the search engine traffic to another ip so when you clicked on a search result on his site this will redirect to another, check your htaccess for something unsusual

    I want to make myself clear my computer was not infected at the time and yes I checked and the problem was I was getting localized results, msn often does that so I guess the spam targeted to improve its serps in local results only.

    Since I am working in seo I often check various search engines for various results for even more various queries in order to check for rankings. On one of those searches I found out just what I showed here.
