I have said it before here in this forum and I'll say it again even though people might not like it, including msn dude and everybody else. MSN/Live sucks!
They wanted to get rid of spam sites and they did a good job at that but they also got rid of some really good sites because of some "linking problems" and other crap that their algo couldn't handle anymore.
The reason now, I think, for not getting indexed is that it has to go through several months of algo filtering to show up. If the site is still around in 2 months, then it might be worth indexing...... seems to be their motto nowadays or maybe they are using Vista on a 286 machine to do the indexing. They should buy some Linux boxes, put some public domain software on it and they'll get the indexing done in notime.
There should be no reason for a website not to be indexed in a matter of days if it is deemed ok. If any other SE can do it, why can't MSN? Kinda' rediculous when they at least "invented" computers. If it wasn't for Windows installed in every computer with MSN email accounts they'd never get anyone using MSN/Live.com!!

Hotmail accounts, you mean... they need to get away from the proprietary and begin to build their indexes more efficiently. This just proves that MSN has issues when it comes to building all the pages on the web into their index. Poor technology, poor indexing capability, poor search engine architecture. This sums it up.

As for getting indexed, submit your site, watch your rankings in MSN's search-powered sites and make sure your pages are being constantly indexed. Use MSN spaces as well as the other MSN-powered sites and you'll begin to see VERY high traffic coming your way.

I have sites indexed in google, yahoo, for weeks, months, years, nowhere to be seen in MSN.

Fast indexing used to be their one strength. Not now.
