Some of our sites are well ranked but the visitor count is 0,37% for MSN. Looks like nobody uses MSN search these days. I was wondering if there is anyone who had succeeded with this search engine?

It's because when people thing of search engine or searching something on the internet they go for Google. Google has created such a time stamp in the Internet user community that it's been a part of internet search. Google is still the dominating search engine in the internet community and I think it will continue to lead in near future.

Yes, you are right. MSN search is going down and down, Now Most traffic coming from social networking sites, but the Google search is always on top priority.

MSN is pretty useless traffic. They have a quirky algorithm to rank things to begin with, and even if you do rank well, MSN traffic is notorious for not converting. The big G is definitely the golden ticket right now.

I agree that less people use MSN search.
with msn, people can't find the exactly result.

Yeah the whole MSN network is being help up by AOL & Hotmail... however the good thing is they trying hard to make up ground on Google with some cash back offers but I think is beating a dead horse.. the reason I advertise on MSN is if I get $200 vouchers for $20.. makes it worth while..

We don't use MSN search only when IE and MSN force us to do.
MSN search doesn't exist to us if we don't use IE and MSN.

Just checked our analytics stats, for the 4,000 people that came to our site in the last 30 days, 18 came from Live & MSN - 0.45% which is dead in line with what the original poster said. Google accounts for 95% of the search engine traffic!

Our site is webmaster / programming / software based.

Microsoft...if you are reading this: give it up already!

MSN homepage was quickly replaced by myspace from all the people i've talked to... it's because MSN spaces were the origional Myspace, and then people had the luxury of a search engine right there...

But now they just use myspace.. who is partnered with google.. as well as just using google.com

    MSN? Not really useful anymore..

I saw major changes in rankings today on live.com and to be honest many spam websites have been removed. Check it out, it's cleaner than usual :p

Google is killing msn search, my site is ranking well for quite a
bit of competitive keywords in msn but I do not receive very much
    traffic from it.
