MSN Search Feature

Just found an MSN Search Referral in our logs. Looking at it I see an interesting feature which I hadn't seen at any other SE before.

    http://search.msn.com/preview.aspx?&q=digital point

I know these thumbnails have been done before but not as part of search. Not sure how it would benefit someone searching though... Wonder if it will be a main part of their search... Prolly not I guess.

Anyone seen this MSN Search Feature drop by your site?

Or has it been there for ages and am I just too shortsighted with my use of mainly Google

Okay, so now I have to know why my site does not have a thumbnail for its photo. Anyone know?

Gate's is determined to make a run at search, this looks like a good feature, it will be a slugfest in the search engine wars down the road.

M$, IBM, Google, Yahoo and a lot of other players in the trade.

M$ has a great advantage since they control 90% of the PC users OS.

Google is rushing to get into other businesses and extend search to mobile devices (wireless phones) they know they will be attacked in common search.

Or you could call it commodity search, it will become a commodity like electric.
