Has anybody else had problems with getting new content indexed by MSN over the last few weeks, I put some new content on my site about 4-5weeks ago now and it has still not been indexed, also my directory www.biz-dir.co.uk is still not on there after 3 weeks.

i'm pretty sure msn is having some sort of problem indexing new content (but seems to be fine when it comes to updating existing pages). I have a few sites that went live a month ago, and none of them are indexed yet. one has over 2k backlinks according to msn, but still a site:sitename.com shows nothing. hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

    hi dave e

    you are not alone

Just before Xmas we relaunched our site using the same 2yr old domain name, some of the new pages have the same name as their older counterpart.

We are also embarking on a sensible program of off page optimisation. Using rank checking software which seems to be reasonably accurate, Google has indexed our site, and has started ranking top30 positions for some keyphrases for not only the home page but also a couple of pages in subdirectories one level off the home page

Fortunately I still have many Top30 rankings in MSN and Yahoo but a month on, none of these are new pages, even new pages residing in the root are indexed by MSN. My backlink program consists of deep linking, not just to the home page. MSN doesnt even know about any of the new pages nestling in sub directories..it still ranks older ones.. Yahoo knows about the new pages even though it doesnt rank them, but its a start.

Same here ...getting indexed really well with Google, doing okay with Yahoo and MSN doesn't seem like it has even visted yet.

    Exactly the same (sad) story.
MSN shows the links that point to my new site, but the site itself is not cached.
MSN bot came only twice or so within the last 2 weeks.

At first, I was 100% sure that there's something wrong with the site.
After seeing this thread, I see that I belong to a fast growing club.

I'm not sure about new domains being indexed (or not indexed) on MSN, but I updated several pages of one of my sites a few days back with fresh content and Title tags etc, and they are indexed on MSN with all the new content and also showing up in rankings. It's a well established website and its getting indexed regularly by MSN :)

Glad I found this thread,. I'm not getting my pages indexed either(on new domains), and the few they index they drop the next day.
