get some links pointing towards it. this forum is a great place for learning about link building.

try submitting to directories and keep building content, ensure your site is efficiently coded...etc

maybe you will find this article on seo useful?

or... if your site has previously been indexed by msn and then been kicked out it could be because you're breaching search engine guidelines or involved with "bad neighbourhoods"?

Add enough references to your site in forums, and also should help if you search the site in msn constantly.

I hope you realize it can take up to 6 months for a spider to actually visit your site for the first time. Spider crawlings aren't an instant job, and there are most likely hundreds of thousands of websites before yours waiting to get indexed.

MSNbot visits my site around 1-2 times a week at most. Google and Yahoo are the two main spiders, and are on my site indexing nearly 24/7.

I have the same problem, but there is some hope I think..
I was in there index up until October last year, I wasn't getting many hits from Msn or Live as you can see from the pics below, but at least I was in there.
    But then they dropped me.
The only way you could find my domain in there search engine was if you searched for my domain, and then it would say... did you mean? someother-domain.com:(

I have now just started getting re-indexed, and in the last few days I have had a few hits for actual keywords :D
Not sure if it is a coincidence or not but I reckon its because of what was mentioned in another thread. So I tried it

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=7676978#post7676978

Any way try it, if you haven't already.
    Good luck

    Cheers

This is helpful information, guys, thanks for sharing! I think MSN's search engine may become more beneficial as a source of traffic soon so I'll be trying to get a bit better positioned in their rankings.

I think MSN has some problems with indexing sites, it starts Off real slow, and indexes quite slowly.

I have submitted my site to MSN in January and for a few days was on the top 10 of my keywords. I also joined the webmaster site ,authenticated it, submitted my site mapt and still my stats say last indexed in Jan. I get most of my traffic from yahoo. Very little from google(i know why) but with MSN , not sure whats goin on. I even cheked my robot stats. I went to sites that were indexed by MSN for my keywords and looked at their source to see if they were doing something I'm not.,their robot.txt was the same as my. All I can think is those sites may be over a year old. Dunno.

Yes, I can. This is the best free meathod.
Find a blog that ranks very well in msn that is related to jewelry. Comment on the blog and leave a link to your website.
    Do this a few times.
Msn is already ranking those blogs well and their spiderbot will quickly follow the links to your site and index it.
    :)
