msn messenger. Help!

    Hi Guys, I'm new to this site and computing, just got new msn accounts, I want to be able to open two different messenger accounts (e-mail address at same time on same pc) is this poss, if so how? can I talk to same person from two seperate boxes?
    please help. need to know how?

    I don't think you can bud.

    You can only be signed in to one account at a time. The only way you can have two opem is with XP (i.e. two different users have one open, but you can't be on both users' account at the same time).

    So, no, I don't this is possible.

    no you can't, I tried recently to have a different msn account open on a different user in xp, still won't work, signs me out everytime :(

    I thought you could do that by using two different browsers (IE and Netscape)? It has to do with cookies does it not? That works for most things, guess my knowledge on this is a bit too limited.

    Get trillian, then you can be logged onto multiple accounts at the same time. Trillian is msn,yahoo,aim,irc all rolled into one. You can be logged into as many accounts as you want to (hundreds I suppose lol) just not the same account twice.

    It's easily possible with a modification called a polygamy. This modification allows you to open MSN Messenger any number of times on the same system.

    Your best bet is checking http://www.mess.be and finding the one which matches your version of MSN.

    lol like I said just use Trillian 3.1 you can open hundred of msn messenger windows at once

    I do it all the time. One on an old version of msn that came with the comp i have and one on the new version of msn, works fine.

    You should get Google Talk/Yahoo Messenger and MSN messenger and you can accomplish what you are trying to do. Or invite them both to the conversation......

    hi guys i was just wondering sometimes when i sign into msn messenger i dont get the icons down the side and i was wondering if there was anyway i could permantly keep them.
    when i sign in on another computer it works.
    I am using windows live.
