Hi i have good results with my pitbull site in msn, but in google is so hard to reach a better ranking! What do you think! What is diffierent SEO work between msn and google?
MSN is known for ranking new sites pretty high up and pretty quick. MSN is also know for sending less traffic. How old is your pitbull site? Google will limit your site in its search engine results for the first 2-6months.
Google puts a lot of weight on quality of the links...Get some more high quality links and also the age of your site makes a difference.
That question is the same like saying: there is a barslut who loves me, but when I talk to a super model, she won't. WHY???
I think for traffic doesn,t matter if it from google or msn! The result is the same for me - traffic! Dont make difference between traffic from google and msn!
You could make a site and write 'cheesymonkeyeatsanalsmellyrattyassmsn' in the middle of the page, with no other content. You could place a link to that site in your DP signature. About 2-4 weeks later you will rank number 1 on ALL search engines for 'cheesymonkeyeatsanalsmellyrattyassmsn'. The more popular the seach term, the harder it is to rank for. Thats why your two sites are ranking differently. Also, because they are 1 month old, I would just concentrate on making more content with good internal link structure. Every page sould have links to about 5 other pages, this is aswell as your normal link menu. LINKS LINKS LINKS - internal and external. blogmaster is right, practice with the slut and the real pussy cat will turn up eventually.
I get about 35 times more traffic from Google for the same keywords ranking number 1 in both msn and Google.
yes Google Rockz. I still hate MSN for their results. google is cool i get listed in just 2 days at #2 rank.. Google really rockz. but yes SEO plays important role in this thing.. So concentrate on content. if you have quality.. no doubt you will be added in Search Engine.
Pretty much like what was mentioned by the above helpful members. MSN allocate a higher weightage to keyword(s) domain but Google focus on inbound links.
Age doesn't matter that much after the first two months... I have the same problem by the way for my 2+ yr old site - 7-8K visitors from MSN, 300-500 from Google...
