MSN/LIVE Cannot Possibly Be This BAD! Unprecedented!

We are currently ranked 7th on MSN/Live for a major keyword that has over 100,000,000 results on both Yahoo and Google. When ranked in the top 10 on Google or Yahoo for this keyword a site would get over 5,000 hits a day.

But on MSN... guess how many we are getting? We are ranked 7th and are currently getting ZERO hits per day! What the crappy crap is going on here?

    Any ideas?

MSN results are heavily infuenceed by the location. Even if it is ranked at 7 for you, it is possible that the same is outside 100 for most part of the world. I had facerd this sitauation earlier, DP keyword tool has helped me to identify the reason.

Who is using MSN search anymore ?

But how does MSN know where you're at, if you use their main site at msn.com or live.com and you're not logged in?

If your lucky, you can get traffic from MSN. I was getting around 4% of my traffic for paidpaid.info from msn, keyword 'sneakmein'. It was the only keyword which actually got me any traffic.

    MSN just sucks nowadays!!
I still don't know what is going on with them but they seems to have deleted tons of sites for some odd reason that nobody really knows.
It seems, just guessing, that they created some type of algo to get rid of spam sites, and they did it so good that they only have mom&pop sites left and the big ones with money that they don't dare touch.
They ARE letting new sites in or back but you have to BEG and BEG them to get back in.
MSNDude over at WMW has disappeared. He hasn't answered any PM's for months! Guess he got tired of people complaining. Can't be fun when everybody tells you how crappy you are or how crappy your employeer is or how stupid the new algo is, so I guess he pulled himself out.

I used to get around 20% of my SE traffic from MSN, 70% from yahoo and 10% from yahoo, thats dropped to 2% MSN now, not liking the new MSN algo at all!
