MSN / Live Bot Does Not Follow 301 Redirects?

    Will anybody let me know if this is true or not that MSN / Live Bot Does Not Follow 301 Redirects. that is new site will not get any credit from older one

    Windows Live and MSN does not respect 301 redirects [permanent redirects] unlike Google and Yahoo.
    (Is it me, or does this seem a little too similar to a Sphinn article I saw earler... :p).

    They will follow it, but you would lose your rankings (you'll need to start from scratch).

    I think it follows but not instantly like googlebot or slurp, it will come later to the new site

    I agree with the above responses and I remember someone from MSN saying that changing sites or even URLs for your pages should be avoided if you care about rankings.

    Yeh it happens to my site too. My all rankings gone in MSN/Live after i put 301 redirect on my site.
    Now my 4 pages indexed in Live :D hopefully it will index my all pages.
