I had mine momentarily pre-populated with "fitness" and then the text disappeared disappeared... what is this, some sort of subliminal messaging? Whatever next? Vista is good? Buy Vista? You need Vista?

im not seeing anything in my msn search box.

i might be looking in the wrong place though, i never ever use msn. google is so much more 'efficient' in some way.
for a start, theres no new cluttering up the first page....takes a while longer to load.

I'm not seeing anything either. Perhaps you have to have MSN cookies loaded, or they're experimenting with this with only a small number of IP blocks or datacentres?

Either way, I agree that it sucks. Unless you have a search phrase that over 50% of people are using, it's going to waste time or create confusion for the majority of users.

Maybe they stopped doing it now. It's strange to think that type of advertising is more shameless than the kind Kanoodle does.

I never see anything in the search box, either. Maybe it only appears for certain users. I tried the UK website, too.

Yea, I didn't notice it either. They may have realized people really hated it and stopped it.
